Mr. Yang graduated from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications with a MEC in Electrical Engineering. He had worked in the CCPIT PATENT AND TRADEMARK LAW OFFICE for nearly ten years and had helped a great number of well-known multinationals in getting their patent applications granted. He had handled numerous patent prosecutions and IP-related spotlight lawsuits. He is proficient in dealing with patent infringement litigation, invalidation, patent analysis, patent pool and technical standards planning. He has handled a significant number of complex IP-related infringement lawsuits and patent invalidation trials including Mobike, Feitian, Naura, UC Web, Guangzhou Shenma, Suzhou E-Audio etc. He pursued further study of U.S. Patent Law at Law School, University of New Hampshire and the American Law Firm BSKB-Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, LLP. He also went to VOSSIUS & PARTNER for advanced study of European and German patent law. He has been as an active speaker for many international conferences and IP academic summits. He was once invited as a guest speaker to deliver speech on various IP forums held by Beijing Higher People’s Court, Patent Information Annual Conference (PIAC), AIPPI China Branch and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). In the meantime, he has served as a lecturer for the All-China Patent Attorneys Association and gave speeches in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. He also put forward a draft proposal to the AIPPI Assembly as a representative of AIPPI China. He had dealt with the Supreme Court review cases representing well-known enterprises such as Nokia, Sensormatic Electronics, LLC and China Telecom, and defended interests for the clients to the largest possible extents.
