Ms. Ma graduated from Peking University with a dual degree in Computer Science and Law. She had worked in the CCPIT PATENT AND TRADEMARK LAW OFFICE, which is the very first patent law firm in China. She had been involved in building and establishing of IP sectors for several large full-service law firms and patent law firms. She has extensive patent filing and prosecution experiences. She excels in litigation and has handled numerous IP lawsuits including infringement and invalidation cases. She has counseled many companies and has provided advice including IP strategy, overseas early warning, patent pool, and establishment for industry standard. She took part in the formulation of a number of national radio and television industry standards. She has performed overseas early warning and analysis for essential patents related to the industry standards in China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB). She has been entrusted by CCTV Technical Management Center to conduct IP warning assessment for the CHINA DRM Technical Scheme. She is the Executive Council member of Capital Intellectual Property Services Association, Executive Council member of Beijing Patent Attorneys Association, Standards Committee member of Capital Intellectual Property Services Association, and Director of Intellectual Property Committee of China Productivity Promotion Centre.
